Your job as an Auto Technician may include:

  • Oil and filter changes
  • Replacing all the vital fluids of a car (e.g., coolant fluid, transmission fluid, transfer case fluid, etc.)
  • Doing quick replacements of parts under the hood (e.g., air filter replacements, headlights & taillights, wiper blades, fan belts, etc.)
  • Providing performance enhancers to ensure that vehicles run smoothly (e.g., engine stop leak, oil treatment, valve cleaner, diesel injector cleaner, etc)
  • Courtesy checks that include topping up fluid levels, cleaning windows and checking tire pressure
